Noticed that everyday the temperature is getting hotter and hotter in the Philippines? School is not yet out but it feels like an early summer for us. Despite what the weather reports and El Niño updates say, I love summer as always!
Summer for us here in the province is a time to build, to plant and even to pause and breathe awhile from the daily necessities of kids in school. (Vacation soon, yey!) Best yet is the time spent together with family during visits to the nearby beach!
I always have happy memories of summer being the "tourist" that I used to be :) Reading books, hanging out with friends, going to the movies, listening to the radio and yes, how could I forget, eating halo-halo to cool off. Hmm, I miss those carefree summer days, yet the happy feeling is always here! ^_^

It's not just hotter in the phillipines. It's getting hotter in Malaysia too.. Actually, I heard that it's getting hotter everywhere. I guess the green house effect is kicking in huh? *Sigh*..
