Solved A Problem With Paypal Limited Access Account

Photobucket

(Sorry, dear readers and friends, I wasn't able to put my mind on blogging lately. Been sorting out my problem about my limited access account on Paypal and tried to work out the matter)

Logged on to my Paypal one morning and got ready to transfer my funds to my bank account. In the midst of this - which I suspect caused the problem- I added my BDO bank account number so I could withdraw at least cost. I was just giving it a try this once. So, okay, it was approved then. But at the same time when I began the transaction, limited access account status came out. Thinking that it was temporary and that maybe they need to verify my new account first, I gave it another day.

But yes, I really needed to withdraw my funds that I couldn't wait (as I just spent a huge portion of my savings to pay my Globe broadband fee!) So I proceeded to withdraw thru my Unionbank EON instead... and oops! it was also put on limited access account.

What do you do when this happens? In my case... I rushed on to sort out the problem and ran a search on Google for "help problems with limited access account" and "paypal limited access account." Frankly speaking, not much comfort there haha! To make it worse I was even shocked and surprised reading the so-called Paypal reports and feedback from other account holders. The best advice I got was from Hongkiat to whom I owe thanks for the ever-reliable advice. Thanks still for the info because I was able to decide not to write Paypal but to call them instead.

(I'd like to share this with you my friends, if ever this happens to you, too. What is important, you must know all the facts.)

Email someone, locate their contact number and call them to report. Especially if you do not know the reason for the account limited access, you've got to know!

So here's what I did:

1.> I acted fast. I got my BDO account transactions and Unionbank EON account transactions ready. I made printscreen shots of each, with my name and account number - in case Paypal agents will need me to send it for proof.

2.> Quickly located the contact number of Paypal. Good that it's a US phone number which made it easier to call via Skype.

3.> Took note of the Paypal customer service message as follows:

Contact Us
For faster customer service, please have the following information ready.
* Primary home telephone number: (the number you registered in your Paypal account)
* Secure Web PIN: (Mine was: 505###) This is only valid for 60 minutes
* Primary email address: (Your Paypal email address)

4.> Proceeded to call the number. Not that easy, but I gave it a try. Sometimes the phone is busy but altogether it just took me 3 minutes to get through. After the voice prompt I pressed the numbers of my home phone number for verification. I was able to get through again. Later the voice prompt asked for the Secure Web Pin, yes - again it accepted.

5.> Speak to the Paypal call center agent. State your problem clearly. He/she will ask for some data from you to verify your ownership of the account. Just try to communicate despite the so-called "language barrier". Don't be afraid to ask what caused the problem so you can trace your recent transactions. Always remember to be courteous to the call center agent and don't forget to thank him/her too.

6.> After the call - Important: Take note of the recommendations of the call center agent and act on them immediately.

I hope these steps will help you too!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Music Monday - First Cut Is The Deepest

I would have given you all of my heart
but there's someone who's torn it apart
and she's taking almost all that I've got
but if you want, I'll try to love again
baby I'll try to love again but I know

The first cut is the deepest, baby I know
The first cut is the deepest
'cause when it comes to being lucky she's cursed
when it comes to lovin' me she's worst
but when it comes to being loved she's first
that's how I know

The first cut is the deepest, baby I know
The first cut is the deepest

I still want you by my side
just to help me dry the tears that I've cried
cause I'm sure gonna give you a try
and if you want, I'll try to love again
but baby, I'll try to love again, but I know

The first cut is the deepest, baby I know
The first cut is the deepest

'Cause when it comes to being lucky she's cursed
when it comes to lovin' me she's worst
but when it comes to being loved she's first
that's how I know

The first cut is the deepest, baby I know
The first cut is the deepest

It's A Saturday and I'm feeling Blog Stress

Yep, you read in right! Too early for me to get blog burnout and I may be exaggerating a lot. I got nothing to post although I've got a few blog posts on my drafts folder.

For the meantime, I'll just do something fun on BlogThings and see if the result would honestly describe me. (Try answering too and let me know your result)

You Are Intelligent

You are dignified, spiritual, and wise.

Always unsatisfied, you constantly try to better yourself.

You are also a seeker of knowledge and often buried in books.

You tend to be philosophical, looking for the big picture in life.

You dream of inner peace for yourself, your friends, and the world.

A good friend, you always give of yourself first.

Awesome result, especially about that seeker of knowledge! Blogthings moderators must be reading this blog, hehe :)

It describes me exactly, those are most of my obvious points in life if I would describe myself. I just do not have the exact words so I let the personality tests do it. I believe in their accuracy, as I learned from my psychology course long ago. To call me dignified is a huge compliment, that's what I can say!

Leave a comment, let me know your result ^^ Have fun this Saturday!

The Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside my window...
It's a cloudy day with a little bit of sunshine. A perfect day to do some gardening.

I am thankful...
for my health improving, losing weight and getting better. I am also thankful for my children's schooling are okay and my eldest working this week at an internet cafe in another town.

I am wearing... corduroy over-alls, white long-sleeve shirt and a straw hat. I was out in the garden this morning.

I am remembering...
the date yesterday July 20th which rang-a-bell to me. A day of departure for London 7 years ago. June and July's seem to be my favorites to fly somewhere, what a coincidence.

I am going...
to the Parents-Teachers Association meeting this 1PM at our 3 boys' high school. Today will be the turn over of all files, notes, circulars and funds from former PTA officers to us newly-elected officers.

I am reading...
A Complete Guide to SEO which I have on my list for quite a time now. I am really putting my mind into the topic right now as I realized I've been a blogger for two years and still don't know what it's all about! Because when I read from a website, I just get the "zzz's" and nod off. I feel like I'm learning Algebra for the first time :)

On my mind...
ah! too much brain activity. Y'know, like the buzz you get from reviewing all night and taking an exam the next day then knowing afterwards that you made it... I am thinking of projects to do, which I cannot disclose for the moment. Just to give you a hint, it's about the 80's and high school reunions.

Pondering these words...
My belief is greater than your doubt. And I mean it. I posted it as a shout out on my personal facebook profile that I believe in healing, particularly for my ailing father-in-law who has COPD. I said believe you are healed, see yourself healthy, pray and claim perfect health. It may not be easy, but you've got to try.

From the kitchen....
My hubby, the official cook around here, will be cooking pinikpikan - the famous dish of the Igorot culture. I will just be holding the chicken's wings :)

I am hearing
my 4-year-old singing along to Yo Gabba Gabba on tv

I am listening to
Charice Pempengco's rendition of "I Will Always Love You" on YouTube

Around the house...
Clean up to do, colored pens and paper on the floor from my young boy's artwork

One of my favorite things...
Rainbow on my garden and butterflies around my one-and-only calamansi tree of 5 years. I'm amazed that plenty of butterflies visit and in so many colors!

A picture to share...

Yes, I'm definitely playing MM now :) To share my feel-good songs that I listen to!

The story behind this, nothing in particular. But this song makes me feel good, a comfort during my uh-oh times in London in 2003. I love the melody and the lyrics. It's what I call "bourgeoisie", ha ha. The song makes me look back with bittersweet memory but in fact I feel happy listening to it!
